Overview
Bridges, embankments and flood studies need an accurate picture of the river: its bed, its banks and the land it floods. We combine echo-sounder bathymetry in the channel with drone and total station survey of the banks and flood plain.
Our largest river job is the Ganga Path corridor from Munger to Bhagalpur for BSRDCL, about 82.5 km with 18 river cross-sections and bridge-alignment pillar schedules. The data was used for hydraulic modelling by IIT Roorkee.
What's included
- River cross-sections at the spacing you need
- Longitudinal section along the thalweg
- Bank-line and flood-plain mapping
- Bridge alignment and pillar coordinates
- Approach-road levels

- Process and plot sections
- Deliver drawings and data
Questions
At what spacing are cross-sections taken?
The client or designer usually fixes it. Typical spacing ranges from 25 m near structures to 100 m or more along long reaches. We follow your specification.
Can you survey during the monsoon?
Water levels and safety decide that. We plan river work for safe flow conditions and tell you the best window at the quotation stage.
Which formats do modellers get?
Cross-sections in DWG and PDF, plus XYZ or CSV data that can be imported into common hydraulic modelling software.
