Overview
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) sends short radar pulses into the ground and records the echoes from buried objects and layers. It finds metal and non-metal pipes, cables, voids and changes in the ground without digging.
We use MALA and GSSI multi-frequency GPR systems with DGPS positioning, so every detected utility is shown at its real location on the map.

Questions
How deep can GPR see?
It depends on the antenna and the soil. Lower frequencies reach deeper with less detail; higher frequencies give more detail near the surface. Wet clay reduces depth. We choose the antenna for your target.
Can GPR find plastic pipes?
Yes. GPR detects non-metallic pipes as well as metal ones, as long as there is a contrast with the surrounding soil.
Is the survey safe for roads and buildings?
Yes. GPR is non-destructive and needs no digging or drilling.
