Overview
Material, money and royalty all depend on volume. We measure stockpiles, quarry pits and earthwork by drone photogrammetry or total station and report volumes with the method and surfaces shown.
Periodic surveys (monthly or quarterly) use the same control every time, so changes between surveys are reliable.
What's included
- Control fixed once and reused
- Drone or total station capture of the surface
- Base surface agreed with the client

Questions
How accurate are drone volumes?
With ground control points, drone surfaces are typically within a few centimetres vertically, which gives reliable volumes for stockpiles and pits. The method and checks are listed in the report.
Can you survey every month?
Yes. Periodic surveys are planned on the same control so month-to-month changes are consistent.
Do you prepare mine plans?
We prepare survey plans and boundary demarcation used for mine plans and statutory submissions, as per the client's format.
