Overview
Good planning starts with a base map that matches the ground. We survey the site by drone, DGPS and total station, map existing land use, roads and services, and then prepare layout plans for colonies and townships with plots, roads and open spaces.
Once a layout is approved, our survey team marks plots and roads on the ground, and GIS mapping keeps the planning data organised for future phases.
Why it matters
A layout drawn on an inaccurate base map fails on the ground: plots lose area, roads miss levels and drains do not flow. Planning on measured data avoids these problems.
Our methodology
- Survey and map the site
- Study land use, access and drainage
- Prepare layout options with you
- Finalise drawings and schedules
- Mark plots and roads on site

Deliverables
- Base map and layout plan (DWG / PDF)
- Plot and area schedules
- GIS layers (SHP / GeoPackage) and KML
- Plotting coordinates and site marking
From our work
For a 500-acre township near Prayagraj, our drone survey gave the developer a 2.5 cm orthomosaic and 0.5 m contours, used for master planning, drainage design and regulatory approvals. We have also carried out Smart City mapping for urban planning.
Questions
Do you get the layout approved?
Approval is given by the development authority. We prepare the survey, layout drawings and documents the authority asks for, following the bye-laws you share with us.
Can you mark plots after approval?
Yes. We mark plots and roads on the ground with total station from the approved layout.
Do you provide GIS data?
Yes, in SHP or GeoPackage with KML for easy viewing.
