Our work: Banka Dam to plant site
We surveyed the Banka Dam to plant site corridor with drone LiDAR and single-beam bathymetry, from Ch. 0 to 5,095 m. We set up six TBMs, took cross-sections every 100 m, and delivered a topographic plan, contour plan, L-section, DTM and XYZ point cloud.
Survey work in Banka
Banka is hilly and partly forested in the south, along the Jharkhand border, and drained by the Chandan river. Uneven ground and tree cover are where drone LiDAR helps most: it measures the ground under vegetation, which photographs alone cannot. Dams, canals and pipelines here also need bathymetry and accurate levels.
For land owners we provide DGPS and total station surveys of plots and farms, useful during Bihar's special land survey.
Land records
Jamabandi and land records for Banka are on Bihar Bhumi. Bihar's special land survey and settlement (vishesh bhumi sarvekshan) is under way across the state, so many owners now need an accurate measurement of their plot with coordinates. We measure the land with DGPS and total station, compare it with the khesra / plot numbers and the village map, and give you a drawing with area in square metres, hectare and acre. Official records are prepared by the survey and revenue staff; our drawing supports your claim with clear, checkable data.

Questions
Why use drone LiDAR in Banka rather than photogrammetry?
LiDAR measures the ground through gaps in trees and bushes, so the terrain model is reliable on hilly, vegetated land where photogrammetry struggles.
What did you deliver for the Banka Dam survey?
Topographic and contour plans, an L-section, cross-sections every 100 m, a DTM and the XYZ point cloud, all on six site TBMs.
Do you do land surveys in Banka?
Yes, plot and farm surveys with DGPS and total station in all 11 blocks.
